FINAL SCHEDULE FOR THIS WEEKENDS COMPETITION AT TAYLORSVILLE H.S.! CHANGES ARE IN BOLD

Times listed are ARRIVAL TIMES, dancers will perform 1 hour later. Dancers must come performance ready, the hour prior to performance will be spent warming up and running the routine. All of our performances are in the GYMNASIUM. Spectator admission is free to this competition, so be sure to invite all your family and friends to watch you perform.

Dance History

Candace began dancing at the age of 10. She took jazz classes from a private studio in her neighborhood for four years. She was a member of the Dance Company in both Junior High and High School. She attended the University of Utah and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication. She was the Vice President of the U of U Crimson Line Dance team for four years. The Crimson Line performed at football and basketball games, all over the Western United States and Japan! Candace was a dance instructor for National Dance Alliance where she taught children all over the United States in jazz, hip-hop, tap, ballet, lyrical and pom. Candace coached the West Jordan High School Drill Team for two years. She choreographed their prop routine that took 1st place at Nationals and their jazz routine that took 2nd. Candace danced for the NBA's Utah Jazz for four years. As a Jazz Dancer she learned over 50 dances a season from many well-known choreographers in the music industry. Candace has taken several classes in Los Angeles and New York. She judges private dance competitions as well as tryouts for professional teams and school teams. Candace has been teaching at Utah Artists School of Ballet since the fall of 2006.
