Competition LINE-UP for April 29-30th

Dance America is at Juan Diego High School 300 E. 11800 S. Admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for ages 5-18, $4.00 for seniors and children 5 and under are free. Again, use of glitter or spray glitter is prohibited. The line-up may change before the competition date so remain flexible. I will post any changes as soon as I get notice of them.

Times listed are ARRIVAL TIMES!! You must arrive PERFORMANCE READY, that means your hair is already done, your make-up has already been applied, your costume is on underneath your dance warm-ups. This is a VERY large competition and will be very crowded. Give yourself extra time to park and check in - DO NOT BE LATE!

April 29th-30th Competition

Although we've not been given a line-up as of yet, we have been informed that Advance/Intermediate will be competing in the morning and Beginning will be in the afternoon. Hopefully this little bit of information helps you in planning your day. All classes are competing in the Beginning category except for the Monday 5:15 Lyrical class.

Times listed are PERFORMANCE TIMES, you must arrive 1 HOUR prior. #2 9:00am - Sideways (Thurs. 5:30 class). #3 9:00am - Jump in the Line (Thurs. 4:30 class). #20 10:00am - Disturbia (Monday 4:15 class). #29 10:30am - Juke Box Baby (Tuesday 5:30 class). -Awards for these four routines is scheduled for 1:30pm on the arena floor. #95 1:45pm - Cha Cha (Katie's Class). #129 4:45pm - Breathe (Monday 6:15 class). -Awards for these two routines is scheduled for 5:45 on the arena floor.

April 8th & 9th Competition: Soloist Times/Hair & Make-up/Ticket Info

The competition will be held at the Lifetime Activity Center at Salt Lake Community College Redwood Campus located at 4600 South Redwood Road. Dancers will be admitted free with costume. Spectator tickets are $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for children and seniors ages 6-12. Kids 5 and under are free. Two day passes are available at $14.00 for adults and $10.00 for children and seniors. Absolutely no outside food or drink is allowed. However, participants are allowed a water bottle. No glitter is allowed so please do not use that as part of your make-up. The doors open at 3:00pm on Friday the 8th and 8:00am on Saturday the 9th. Award ceremonies occur throughout the day in the foyer of the Activity Center approximately 15 minutes after the last dance number in the category. Time listed are performance times. Tuesday 4:30: High curly pony tails, no bangs. Thursday 4:30: Part on the left, slicked back into low bun. Thursday 5:30: Part down the middle, two braids starting at the base of the head.
