Admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for ages 5-18, $4.00 for seniors and 5 and under are free. Hair & Make- Up/Dress rehearsal location

The Dress Rehearsal scheduled for Thursday, April 19th from 4-7 will be held at an LDS Church located at 272 E Traverse Pointe Dr. in Draper. To get there, Take the Bangerter Exit in Draper off of I-15. Head East on Bangerter, past the Harmons and Walgreens. Continue heading up the hill. You will come to a stoplight at the intersection of Highland Drive and Bangerter (turns into Traverse Ridge which is the road that heads up over Suncrest). At the Intersection, you will see a Chevron Gas Station the church is located directly behind it.

Hair: slicked straight back into a high "very curly" pony tail, secure hair piece on top.

Make-up: Eyes - Wet & Wild 385B "Don't steal my thunder" with black eyeliner and black mascara. Red lipstick & pink blush.

Monday 5:30

Hair: Braided headband from left part down into a low messy bun on the left side & secure hair piece above the bun.

Hair: Sleep in 4 french braids for the "crimped" look. Pull sides back and poof the front, secure the headband.

Hair: A lot of tight curly ringlets with sides pulled up, secure head piece on top.

Jazz Dress Rehearsal

Dress Rehearsal for ALL Jazz classes will be held Thursday, April 19th from 4-7pm at an LDS Chapel in Draper. More details TBA.

MARK YOU CALENDARS ~ 2012 COMPETITION DATES

We've started working on our competition routines for next spring. Dancers spend a lot of time perfecting their routines so they can do well at competitions. Please make every effort to attend. It is unfair to the rest of the class when changes have to be made last minute for a missing dancer.

America Onstage: April 20-21 at Taylorsville High School

Dance America: April 27-28 at Juan Diego Catholic High School

Dance-A-Rama: May 4-5 at Kearns High School

If your daughter would like to compete with a solo next spring please let me know a.s.a.p. I will only be taking on a limited number of solists this year, so don't wait until it's too late to reserve your spot.

Parent & Toddler Class

I will be teaching a Parent & Toddler class at Utah Artists School of Ballet (9333 S. 1300 E. Sandy). Here are the details!!

Ages: Walking - 3 years

Schedule: 8 consecutive Wednesday mornings; September 7th - October 26th

Time: 9:20am-10:00am

Price: $50.00

This will be a fun class with gymnastics, song, dance and an obstacle course for your toddler to test out his/her skills.

Juke Box Baby Dancers need to be to the competition at 9:40am this Saturday.

Our final competition is here!! Congratulations to everyone for doing an excellent job at the Dance America Competition. With every performance you grow as a dancer and a performer. I hope you each found a new confidence in your talent and that it will show through this coming weekend at the "Dance-A-Rama" Competition at Taylorsville High School (5225 S. Redwood Road). Spectator Admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children ages 4-12, ages 3 and under are free. Dancers will be admitted with a ticket, if you lose the ticket they will make you pay to get in. As always this line-up may change and I will make updates as soon as I get them.

Although we've not been given a line-up as of yet, we have been informed that Advance/Intermediate will be competing in the morning and Beginning will be in the afternoon. Hopefully this little bit of information helps you in planning your day. All classes are competing in the Beginning category except for the Monday 5:15 Lyrical class.
